A Message from the Office of Alumni Relations
The Office of Alumni Relations exists to foster an enduring connection between UTEP and its students, engage all alumni into the life of the University and support them in pursuit of their goals, as well as preserve
the heritage that bonds the diverse group of peoples touched by UTEP.
In the spirit of building a culture of philanthropy and encouraging the Miner Nation to give back, we are inviting you to participate with UTEP’s Project MOVE.
During Project MOVE 2012, more than 1000 volunteers performed numerous hours of community service throughout the Borderland.
We want to increase that number and we want to make it a worldwide event!
Project MOVE (Miner Opportunities for Volunteer Experiences) is an opportunity for all alumni and friends to participate in local service volunteer projects no matter where you are.
- Volunteer for your church or service organization
- Collect canned goods from your neighbors and friends – deliver them to your local food pantry
- Call your local United Way – see if they can connect you with a group of your interest
Share Your Story
The UTEP Alumni Association wants you to tell us about your Project MOVE experience!
On the day of the event wear your UTEP gear, take pictures and videos of your
activities and submit them to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will share your story, pictures and video on our web site.
And, on behalf of the UTEP and the many communities where the Miner Family projects are helping, we thank you!
For those of you in town! Bring canned goods to Glory Field to support the Alumni Association's project!
