MINER NATION CONTRIBUTORS – PILOT PROGRAM

 

Are you a UTEP graduate looking to make an impact and build your content creation skills? The UTEP Office of Institutional Advancement seeks to pilot a new contributors program and hire a team of service providers to support our digital engagement and grow our online community of alumni, students, families, friends, and donors.

 

The Miner Nation Contributors (MNC) program and team will provide a core of storytelling that powers our digital philanthropic community. Miner Nation as a concept will represent a new experience brand that showcases the vibrant philanthropic community at UTEP. As an MNC, you'll collaborate with the UTEP Institutional Advancement team and team to create engaging content for the upcoming Miner Nation website, social media, and e-newsletters.

 

Who we're looking for:

 

We are assembling a small team of a few MNCs who can help us tell us compelling stories. As an MNC, you'll be guided by monthly topic prompts on career and professional development, UTEP traditions, philanthropy, and other themes.

 

Status as a current UTEP donor is required, but if you still need to make your first gift, you can do so after joining the team.

 

What you'll do:

 

As an MNC, you'll create content around monthly themes and topic prompts. This may include video interviews, short LinkedIn posts, articles, and recorded testimonials. You'll have the creative freedom to choose from various prompts within each theme. Your efforts will increase engagement on social media platforms, increase subscribers to our e-newsletter, and drive attendance to virtual events and volunteer programs.

 

How you’ll be compensated:

 

You'll be part of an exclusive team of storytellers, and we value your contribution. All MNCs will receive compensation for their work, which is part time and spread out over the course of each month. Although subject to change, we're planning for a six-month pilot program that will become a permanent year-round initiative. 

 

You'll also be able to build your professional network through an active LinkedIn presence, showcasing your role as a Miner Nation Contributor representing UTEP's Office of Institutional Advancement.
