Annual Alumni Awards

Every year, The University of Texas at El Paso and the UTEP Alumni Association Every year since 1984, The University of Texas at El Paso has recognized exceptional graduates from each of the University’s colleges and schools who have distinguished themselves in their professions and lives, given back to their communities and alma mater, and serve as an inspiration for future generations of Miners. Additionally, the University, along with the UTEP Alumni Association, honors a group of men and women whose achievements stand out as monuments to dedication, integrity and hard work. They are the finest among us. They are the Distinguished Alumni and the Gold Nugget Award Recipients.
