President's Message

My term as your President is coming to an end, and I am amazed at how quickly the year has passed. The work of your 2010-2011 Alumni Association Board of Directors is evident by the accomplishments achieved since last September. A significant achievement was to grow the Miner Nation.

We ran an aggressive membership campaign that increased membership significantly. We need to continue our momentum, and I am confident that the new leadership will continue these efforts.

Thank you to all the members of the Board of Directors who stayed true to their commitment to make a difference. I especially want to thank outgoing Board Members: Hector L. Almeida, Amanda Bernal-Ransom, Carlos A. Gutierrez, M.D., Richard O. Martinez, Ruth Martinez, Ph.D., Leticia Missirian, Henry Quintana, Irma Rascon, Joe Villanueva and Samatha Chagra Wood.

Picks Up...GO MINERS!
